Christ Vidyanikethan, taken shape out of the aspirations of the townshippeople of Irinjalakuda, had its genesis on 5th June 2002by CMI WITH THE OBJECTIVE TO INCLUDE HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF ITS STUDENTS AND ENRICHING THE QUALITY OF THEIR LIVES FROM PRE-KGTO Grade XII. It is a co-educational school with 2500 students, and has now become a notch above the rest of the institutions when it comes to imparting quality education.
The school was initially begun for the locals to aspire for English education under the auspices of the Christ monastery, which had the premier colleges on its campus.
